The Group progresses through technology innovation and upgrade.  In addition to an in-house R&D centre that conforms to national standards, it has also established a state-local collaborated research centre, a national-level post-doctoral workstation, a provincial engineering and technology research centre, as well as a key provincial laboratory.The Group was authorised with 712 licensed patents.

A key competitive strength of the Group lies in its state-of-the-art equipment. The Company utilises cutting-edge smelting and casting equipment from the United States, Canada, and Germany. It has more than 100 aluminium extrusion lines (including 23 production lines of large-scale aluminium extrusion presses of 75MN or above) and operates Asia's largest special industrial aluminium extrusion die design and manufacturing centre. It also possesses leading-edge equipment for deep processing and related ancillary facilities.  In addition, it has been developing the flat rolling production base in Tianjin, which is a top-notch production base with state-of-the-art equipment and complete ancillary facilities. The Group’s solid business foundation is built upon its diversified product portfolio.  As an integral part of its long-term planning, it has actively expanded its deep processing business to develop new applications, offering ready-to-use end products and fabricated component parts to players in the ecological construction, transportation, machinery and equipment, and electrical engineering sectors.  It has developed an extended range of products for use as aluminium-intensive rail compartment bodies, automobiles parts and bodies, special vehicle compartments, aerospace and aviation parts, vessel structures, aluminium alloy formworks, and furniture etc.  These products are used by customers in different parts of the world.
