China Zhongwang has recently commenced the production of the first batch of order from China CNR Corporation (China CNR) for the further fabrication of skirt baffle structures. This batch of order can best signify China Zhongwang’s achievements in further fabrication that it has passed the EN15085-2 CL1 authentication verification and has entered into a new phase in the further fabrication of aluminum materials applied in the fields such as railway vehicles and component welding.

Earlier in October last year, the group has obtained the Certification of EN15085-2 CL1, the standard for European “Railway applications - welding of railway vehicles and components”. This certification offers the group a ticket to enter the European market.  This authentication is also highly recognized in the domestic China market.  It has further enhanced the group’s comprehensive competiveness in the production of high-value added products. From that onwards, China Zhongwang has completed the sample production of 380D high frigid train which has passed the relevant technical assessments.

Since the railway skirt baffle structure is a kind of high precision product that requires sophisticated further fabrication techniques, relevant departments of the group have actively coordinated and re-allocated technicians to do the welding immediately after receiving the orders from China CNR. As at 12 March 2011, part of the welding procedure of the skirt baffle structure order has been completed while the remaining process is in progress orderly and intensively.
