The 13th Liaoyang City Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Federation of Commerce) held the 9th Standing committee and the 5th Executive committee meetings on 1 April 2011 morning, during which Chairman of the Federation who is also Chairman of the City General Chamber of Commerce Mr. Song Shiyou delivered an important speech.  The meeting was joined by the Vice Chairman of the City General Chamber of Commerce and other senior officials of the municipal People’s Congress.

The meeting aimed at promoting the spirit of the 5th Plenum of the 17th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China with a view to realizing the “12th Five-year programme”. It encouraged members of the Federation to take an active role in making contributions to building Liaoyang City into a metropolis. The Federation guided members to adjust industrial structures, transform the economic development modes, and sharpen their edge. Commendations were given to pioneering enterprises with prominent performance in building sound business systems.  Amongst these enterprises, Zhongwang group was awarded two honours – the “2009-2010 Pioneering Enterprise of Liaoyang City Business Systems for Attracting Foreign Investments” and the “2009-2010 Pioneering Enterprise of Liaoyang City Business Systems Offering Excellent Career Prospects”. 

Zhongwang group responded actively to the call from the Federation in 2009-2010. With regard to enterprise development, Zhongwang made a big stride from a product driven company to a company that excel on the capital market platform.  Zhongwang group is Liaoyang City’s first non-state owned enterprise listed on the mainboard outside the mainland. These have paved a new road for attracting foreign capital investments and drove the growth of the group’s industrial aluminum extrusion profiles export business to new heights.  As far as social responsibility is concerned, Zhongwang group cultivates “balance between rights and responsibilities”.  It shoulders social responsibilities by organizing various activities such as “poverty alleviation with warmth”, strictly following the safety standard in production and striving to create a greener home etc. The group always works for better benefits for our staff, the development of society and increasing job opportunities with new business development.
