3 March 2011 – Zhongwang Group was named the winner of the 2010 “Safety & Health Cup – Best Corporation” award by The General Labour Union of Liaoyang City and Liaoyang City Production Safety & Coal Administration. This commends Zhongwang Group’s outstanding performance in this event.

The “Safety and Health Cup” is a city-wide competition jointly organized by The General Labour Union of Liaoyang City and Liaoyang City Production Safety & Coal Administration. A large number of corporations and pioneering individuals with outstanding performances emerged in the course of competition, and among them is Liaoning Zhongwang Group.

The Labour Union and the Safety Supervision Department of Liaoning Zhongwang Group vigorously promoted the application of scientific findings and technological innovation during the competition period.  They abided by the guidelines of “Safety first, precautions crucial and comprehensive management solutions”. Being practical in the process of production, they promoted knowledge sharing and training in safety production for working staff and encouraged the applications of safety facilities. They cultivated a sense of innovation at work which widened the horizons of staff and helped them gain knowledge to build a safe and harmonious working environment. The motto of “Devise precautionary measures through scientific findings, educate staff to practice precautionary means” was defined.  It was supported by themed activities such as “Caring for the well-being and safety of fellow colleagues” and “Elimination of hidden risks and potential accidents at work”.  Thanks to these committed efforts and prominent performance, Zhongwang Group was named the winner amid intense competition.

2011 is the first year of China’s 12th Five Year Plan and also an important year for the further development of “Safety and Health Cup” competition in Liaoyang city. The Labour Union and Safety Supervision Department of Liaoning Zhongwang Group will continue to make persistent efforts to promote health and safety at work.  It will set a good example and make contribution to promoting safety production for the whole city of Liaoyang.
