China Zhongwang has recently completed the installation of two units of newly purchased 75MN extrusion presses at its industrial aluminium extrusion processing workshop and has entered the final stage of inspection. One of the 75MN extrusion presses in the workshop is on pilot run starting from 4 May 2011.

These new 75MN extrusion presses are some of the key elements in the Group’s phase 2 extrusion capacity expansion project.  The mechanical engineering workshop, electric power division, and processing, smelting and casting as well as die design workshops for industrial aluminium extrusion products worked closely together to facilitate the installation works.  The senior management of the Group conducted a number of site visits to supervise work progress and to offer their invaluable advices. Highly motivated as they were, the technicians taking care of the installation works accelerated the pace of work to meet the pre-set completion date as schedule.

As of today, Zhongwang possesses four 75MN large-scale extrusion production lines.  The further introduction of new extrusion presses in the pipeline will enable the Group to increase its capacity for the production of large-section industrial aluminium extrusion products to achieve even higher economies of scale.  These attest to the Group’s extraordinary strengths in its production facilities and technical knowhow and will lay a solid foundation to propel its future growth.  .
