A delegation led by US aluminium producer Aluminum Shape’s Chief Executive Officer Mr. Ted Riddle, Vice President of Marketing Mr. Chris Boland, and HIG Capital’s Executive Partner Mr. David Block and Managing Director Mr. Sean Ozbolt visited China Zhongwang on 18 and 19 May 2011.
Accompanied by China Zhongwang’s management, the executives of Aluminum Shapes and HIG Capital walked through the company’s showroom, workshops for industrial aluminum extrusion processing, smelting and casting, railway carriage production, and engineering research centre with great enthusiasm. In addition to introducing to the executives the world’s largest 125MN oil-driven dual action aluminium extrusion press, state-of-the-art smelting and casting production lines, advanced die processing facilities and other research and development facilities in details, the management showcased the company’s high precision, large and complex cross-section high value-added industrial aluminum extrusion products as well as its collection of global industrial certificates such as Det Norske Veritas, International Railway Industry Standard (IRIS) certificate and the European EN 15085 standard. China Zhongwang has become China’s largest and the world’s third largest manufacturer of aluminum extrusion products, with customers from the U.S., Europe and Australia. The company has a long history of working with U.S. aluminium enterprises and has developed mutual trust with them. The the three parties China Zhongwang, Aluminum Shapes and HIG Capital hoped that there will be more exchanges and collaborations among them to jointly work for a bright future.
The delegates were impressed by Zhongwang’s achievements in research and development, smelting and casting, die and extrusion processes, which have turned the company from a private company to a public company. The parties looked forward to long-term cooperation opportunities.
