China Zhongwang has stepped up its R&D efforts in recent years, dedicating itself to the manufacturing of aluminium extrusions and deep processed products. The group made breakthroughs in projects covering the 7xxx hard aluminium alloy Φ 582 mm round ingot, aluminium extrusion alloy for trains and new aluminium alloy skirt board for train equipment cabins. During the R&D process, the staff tackled problems stemming from a lack of experience, difficult casting and complicated techniques and achieved success after several improvements and tests.

 

To turn technical achievements into capability, China Zhongwang made a formal declaration to the Department of Science and Technology of Liaoning Province for the three projects. The achievements were recognized by the authority after they passed a stringent review.

 

The recognition means that China Zhongwang has strong R&D capabilities for new types of aluminium alloys, driving the production of related products and laying a solid foundation for the group’s development into becoming the world’s largest manufacturer of industrial aluminium profiles.
