China Zhongwang’s Project Included in National Torch Program

China Zhongwang's commissioned project for the construction of aluminium alloy compartments and related parts for urban and high-speed railways was certified as a project in the National Torch Program 2011.

 
During the application, some staff members were assigned to submit information related to the project and facilitate the review as required. The project was eventually recognized as part of the National Torch Program by the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
 
China Zhongwang has established its position in public transport with its offerings of industrial aluminium profiles. Since its listing in Hong Kong, the group has strived to develop light-weight trains of urban and high-speed railways as well as projects involving aluminium alloy compartments and related parts. The inclusion of China Zhongwang’s project in the National Torch Program means that the group’s target in lightweight public transport has been recognized and supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology, driving its development in the sector.
 
China Zhongwang was the only company in Liaoyang city whose project was included in the National Torch Program 2011.
 
 
National Torch Program
The National Torch Program is a guidance program for the development of China’s high and new technology industry. Approved by the government in August 1988, the program is organized and executed by the Ministry of Science and Technology, aiming to promote science education and reforms, and explore China’s advantages and potential in science and technology. The program also promotes the commercialization, industrialization and   global expansion of technological achievements.
