China Zhongwang’s testing centre has passed its annual review by the CNAS, after having been approved for the first time last year.
Designed for integrated testing of mechanical, metallographic, chemical and non-destructive properties, the centre obtained its first CNAS certificate early last year and will undergo the same annual review as required.
To prepare for the review, the group assigned staff to draft materials and follow the procedure as required. On 24 December 2011, the CNAS laboratory review team visited the group for two days for on-site observation as well as document review.
Afterwards, the review team called a meeting where it expressed satisfaction with the completion of the review and high regard for the innovations of
China Zhongwang over the past year, saying that the heightened R&D efforts and established testing provided strong technical support for the group’s testing centre. At last it was announced that the centre attained the required standards and passed the review.
