Among the orders received by China Zhongwang this year, the demand for aluminum profile mold and related processing workpieces continued to increase significantly. In view of this, the Group has recently introduced two units of CA6140 horizontal lathes in addition to the two existing units of horizontal lathes in the mold factory, in order to meet the requirements in production and processing. The installation and shakedown testing of these two new horizontal lathes have been completed. Trial production has been commenced as well.
The two newly introduced horizontal lathes are facilities of the same type, which are able to perform various turning functions, such as turning inside and outside cylindrical surface, conical surface, and other rotating surface; turning face and all kinds of thread (in both metric and imperial measures), modulus and diameter pitch threads; and carry out drilling, reaming, tank pulling and other tasks.
The new horizontal lathes can achieve extremely high accuracy in the size of processing parts, with full compliance to national standards including GB/T4020-1997 “Horizontal Lathe Accuracy Standards”, and result in lower surface roughness value. The horizontal lathes also possess manual brake and foot brake functions, which prove their excellent safety and mechanical properties.
In the future, information management, technology integration, facilities precision, manufacturing quantification and delicacy, processing acceleration and automation, intellectual controls and green manufacturing will become the development directions of mold production.
