China Zhongwang Passes Annual Audit of the IRIS Certification for Two Consecutive Years

Recently, China Zhongwang has successfully passed the annual audit of IRIS (International Railway Industry Standards) certification for the third year in a row since 2010.

IRIS was developed by the UNIFE (Association of European Railway Industry). It has received strong support from four major manufacturers, namely Bombardier, Siemens, Alstom and Ansaldo Breda. AFAQ/BsetCERT,Ltd., the IRIS certification audit unit, dispatched accredited auditors to China Zhongwang for the three-day 2012 IRIS certification audit.
 
On the first day of the audit, IRIS certification auditors chaired the first meeting of IRIS certification annual audit. At the meeting, AFAQ/BsetCERT,Ltd. fully affirmed the significant development that Zhongwang has achieved and its efforts in maintaining IRIS certification over the past year. AFAQ/BsetCERT,Ltd. also explained the audit process, scoring criteria, and other relevant information in details.
 
The audit work began right after the end of the meeting. During the period, IRIS certification auditors carried out comprehensive audit according to the relevant standards in aspects including management process, process control, quality inspection process, physical and chemical testing, production process and warehouse management. The certification surveillance audit result was then announced finally. Since the Group had been awarded IRIS certification in 2010, it also passed the IRIS certification annual audit for two consecutive years in 2011 and 2012 respectively.
