National innovative enterprises represent those possess proprietary intellectual property rights, established reputation, effective innovative management and culture, advanced technology level in the industry, comparative advantages and sustainable development ability. The aim of the Innovation Enterprise Evaluation program is to support and nurture a group of innovative enterprises with outstanding achievements in technology innovation, brand innovation, system mechanism innovation, management innovation and corporate culture innovation in order to set up a model to encourage other enterprises nationwide. 

 

The National Innovative Enterprises are selected by the National Science and Technology Ministry, the SASAC of the State Council and the All-China Federation of Trade Unions. The goal of the program is to lead other enterprises towards innovation development, to improve their self-innovative ability so as to set up a new innovation system combining enterprises, market and research, and to build an innovative country by accelerating economic structure adjustments and growth pattern changes.
