China Zhongwang passed the EN 15085 Certification annual audit and obtained large railway vehicle parts welding qualification. The audit was jointly conducted by the German GSI - SLV and Harbin Welding Training Institute (WTI).
As an authoritative European standard, the EN 15085 enjoyed a high esteem internationally. The EN15085 Certification is a set of welding requirements for railway vehicles and auto parts welding in the railway and transportation industry. This series of standards was officially implemented in Germany since April 2008 and it was specifically for railway vehicles and auto parts welding. It has gradually replaced the original German DIN6700 standards. With the development of the railway transportation industry and the increase in exports relating to railway products, it became a mandatory requirement for railway vehicles and auto parts enterprises to obtain the certification in order to export to EU countries.
China Zhongwang passed the “CL1” standard of the qualification (mainly includes large welding parts such as railway vehicle skirtboards) for the first time in October 2010, paving the way to export aluminium alloy deep processing products including railway vehicle skirtboards to the European and even the global market. The passing of the EN 15085 Certification annual audit and the acquisition of the railway vehicle large parts welding qualification are another breakthrough for China Zhongwang after the ISO 3834 Certification annual audit this September. Until now, China Zhongwang owns certification for large railway vehicle welding parts, both automatic welding and manual welding. The processing areas cover most aluminum alloy welding products and the Group is able to accept domestic and overseas orders.
