In 2012, non-ferrous metals industry statisticians actively strengthened the construction of statistical work and improved the quality of statistical reports to provide analysis of great reference value for the development of the non-ferrous metals industry. This was all carried out in light of the complex domestic and international economic situation. The purpose of the award ceremony is to further enhance the statistical work of the non-ferrous metals industry and its service levels, as well as to honor the outstanding achievements of the advanced firms. In all, 151 companies including China Zhongwang were awarded the “China Non-ferrous Metals Industry Advanced Firm of Statistical Work".

 

Statistical work means to collect, sort and analyze data of social and economic phenomenon. It is a social survey research activity and an important tool for the operations of the national economy. Scientific and effective statistical work is the basis of the analyzing, evaluating, assessing, monitoring, forecasting and decision-making of enterprises’ economic activities, which has an important significance on the sustainable development of enterprises.
