China Zhongwang Receives National Recognition in the Processing Technology of an Aluminum Alloy Project

Jointly organised by China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and Nonferrous Metals Society of China, the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Award has announced its results recently. Developed by China Zhongwang, the Group EMU’s Aluminum alloy extrusion technology and the ф582mm—7XXX hard aluminum alloy round ingot processing technology won the second-class and third-class awards respectively. It was the second accolade as well as a national recognition awarded for the aforementioned projects which had previously received “Outstanding New Product Award of Liaoning Province”.  

 
During the evaluation process, China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Awards Office adhered to relevant regulations and comprehensively assessed all the technology projects lodged for application from the country. Projects which passed the evaluation were published in the “China Nonferrous Metals News," the websites of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, China Nonferrous Metals Society and China Nonferrous Metals Technology Information among other media outlets. The public announcement aimed at soliciting opinions from the entire industry so that the results could be more authoritative and convincing.  
 
China Zhongwang has long been relying on its own technological innovation to enhance its core competitiveness. The Company has made a significant breakthrough in aluminum alloy extrusion and hard alloy round ingot processing technology, especially in developing special products such as those were used in the EMU.  These products received "City of Science and Technology Award", "Provincial Outstanding New Product Award", "Provincial Scientific Research" amid many other honors. This national recognition represents the Company’s aluminum processing technology has been at the leading position in China, boosting significantly the research and development efforts of other related projects.
