The supervisory group of AQSIQ has made an on-site inspection at the factory. They visited exhibition hall, smelting and casting plant, aluminium processing plant, alloy vehicle body manufacturing plant, industrial aluminium extrusion production project, etc. 

 

The initiative of “Striving for Large Projects” undertaken by China Zhongwang was praised highly by the supervisory group of AQSIQ. The group stated that the Group has created a successful path to develop light-weight transportation, illustrating a solid example for the other private enterprises in PRC.

 

The global automobile industry has been moving towards light weight and lower energy consumption, encouraging the increasing application of aluminium in “four doors and two hoods” which helps reduce fuel consumption and the weight of a vehicle body. The ongoing urbanization in China will drive the demand for aluminium applications in railway transportation. After conducting a thorough research on the market supply and demand, technology barriers to entry, availability of talent pool, project scale and required capital expenditure, China Zhongwang is in the process of establishing a production base in Tianjin. Under the strategic direction of “lightweight” development, the Group invested billions in the aluminium flat-rolled project and aluminium plates for transportation is the key product. 

 

Currently, China Zhongwang successfully manufactured all-aluminium fire truck, all aluminium-made semi-trailer and all aluminium-made high-speed rail carriage, showcasing its leading-edge technological level. The supervisory group of AQSIQ recognized the Group’s development strategies and encouraged the Group to spare no efforts in developing high value-added innovative products.
