China Zhongwang passed the EN15085 Certification (Welding of Railway Vehicles and Components) and ISO3834 Certification (Quality Requirements for Fusion Welding of Metallic Materials) annual audit. These two certifications represent the Company has achieved global standard in welding quality in the railway and transportation industry. The audit was jointly conducted by the German GSI - SLV and Harbin Welding Training Institute (WTI).
The audit included compilation of welding system documents, trial manufacturing of large vehicle body parts and welding quality system management. Meanwhile, the technicians launched a series of technology assessments and welding examinations according to relevant provisions. They overcame various challenges in the process of welding and finished the welding, machining and inspection of large parts (the floor, the side walls and the roof of the train) for railway vehicles running in the frigid zones.
During the auditing processes of both ISO3834 and EN15085 certifications, the audit team conducted a thorough review of documents, on-site inspection, and content review on the communication between welding technicians and their supervisors. Upon the review, the team fully affirmed the Group"s work and announced that
China Zhongwang has passed the ISO3834 and EN15085 certifications. Specifically, the Group has passed the annual audit of ISO3834 certification, and the EN15085 certification is renewed for a maximum valid period of 3 years.
