Recently, the new plant of China Zhongwang’s further fabrication center has introduced a robotic welding production line. It is reported that the production line has been on the verge of completion after three months of installation. At present, technicians are undergoing final tuning.

The industrial robot is an electro-mechanical integrated digital equipment, with high technology added value. Not only can it effectively improve the production efficiency and product competitiveness, but also can effectively ease the pressure from increasing labor cost every year. The advanced equipment has become the choice of enterprises.

The new production line is composed of ten groups of robots, each including two mechanical welding arms and a moving arm. The mechanical welding arm, uses argon gas protection welding, can improve welding efficiency and quality. The soot produced in the welding process will be automatically cleared by soot processor; the entire production process will be intelligently completed by the robot, only a few staff is needed to supervise the production process. In view of the welding process, products, quality and efficiency made by robots are better than that of manual operation.

According to 2014 interim report, the sales of its further fabrication industrial aluminium extrusion products increased by 39.2% to approximately 37,000 tonnes, and by 36.0% to approximately RMB990 million. As the further fabrication center was put into operation in 2013, the Group has developed a series of aluminium alloy transportation prototypes, such as aluminium fire trucks, garbage trucks, high-speed train carriage bodies suitable for alpine cold regions and semitrailers. 

Since 2011, based on the foundation laid by industrial aluminium extrusion business, China Zhongwang has expanded the further fabrication industrial aluminium extrusion product business and launched in an orderly manner the aluminium flat rolled product business. The three core-business lines will underpin the Group’s model of sustainable growth.
