Recently, installation of ALMEX casting platform, which was introduced from the U.S. by China Zhongwang, was completed. The platform finished its trial run by producing its first batch of 6061 aluminium alloy ingot with 784mm in diameter.

ALMEX casting platform is the ancillary equipment for the mega-sized 225MN extrusion press ordered by China Zhongwang. The press will arrive the plant and start installation since 2H 2015, the aluminium alloy ingot with 784mm in diameter is tailor made for this press. Being the second largest industrial aluminium extrusion product developer and manufacturer in the world and the largest in Asia, China Zhongwang enjoys great achievement in technical innovation while leading the industry with equipment advantage.

China Zhongwang is currently equipped with over 90 internationally advanced aluminium extrusion production lines (including 21 production lines of large-scale aluminium extrusion presses of 75MN or above), totaling annual capacity to over 1 million tonnes. The Group widely applied intelligent production system and industrial robots, and achieved automated production in most production processes. The robot production lines imported from Austria and Germany help improve the Group’s capacity in deep processing of aluminium extrusion products. Upon completion of installation and testing of the two mega-sized 225MN extrusion presses, China Zhongwang’s leading edge in the production of high end, large-section industrial aluminium extrusion products will be enhanced.
