Recently, results of the 17th annual "Chinese Patent Awards" organized by the State Intellectual Property Office were officially announced. China Zhongwang's invention—"Manufacturing Method of Aluminium Alloy Sections Used in Rail Transit Vehicle Chassis" received the award for "Outstanding Chinese Patented Invention". This is the first time that China Zhongwang is the recipient of such an honour.
Being a recognized award in the domestic intellectual property domain, "Chinese Patent Awards" is the one and only award granted by the Chinese government to reward patented inventions and industrial designs. It is acknowledged by the United Nations' World Intellectual Property Organization, and possess certain influence worldwide.
China Zhongwang is specialized in the research and development of new technologies, materials and equipment of aluminium and aluminium alloy products. It is also one of the several domestic enterprises capable of developing and manufacturing aluminium extrusion high-speed train compartments with speed per hour varying from 300km/h and 350km/h to 400km/h. China Zhongwang is only one of two or three enterprises capable of manufacturing products with large cross-sections, such as the wide plate in the headboard of high-speed rails.
In 2015, China Zhongwang took on many scientific and technological projects on the national, provincial, municipal and district levels, such as national strategic innovation products, key new product programs, the 863 program, and industrial restructuring and upgrading program of industry revitalization and technical transformation. At the same time, Zhongwang has also become a participant in the upstream and downstream cooperation mechanism for the civil aircraft's aluminium products designated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in China. By the end of October 2015, China Zhongwang has obtained multiple international qualifications in the fields of railway, automobile, shipping, aviation and more. China Zhongwang has received up to 340 pieces of authorized patents, and organized and participated in the amendment of 35 national industry standards, playing a definitively representative role in the industry.
