On April 2, under the coordinated command of the electric power companies from municipal and district, and as a result of joint efforts from Zhongwang electric power department with related power transmission and substation companies, the north aluminium line No.1 of Tianjin Zhongwang 220kV converting station successfully delivered current for the first time.

The 220kV converting station in Zhongwang is equipped with double-loop inlet wire. The successful delivery of current of the 220kV converting station is another good news after the successful delivery of current of the Company’s 220kV converting station through manganese-aluminium wire on December 17, 2014. Such success provides reliable and safe guarantee for the operation of the production equipment, which meet the design requirements of the 220kV converting station.

Tianjin Zhongwang is located in Wuqing District, Tianjin, and covers an area of 10 square kilometers. The project is a new top aluminium processing plant in the world with the largest scale, the highest production capacity, and the most product varieties, therefore enjoys advantages in both intensity and scale.
