Zhou Jianping visited the special carriage project in Liaoning Zhongwang Special Vehicle Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and the production mill of high-speed train carriage, die mill and exhibition hall in Liaoning Zhongwang Group, to better understand the Company’s production and operation.

Zhou Jianping highly appreciated Zhongwang’s development and performance during the past few years, and affirmed the Company’s strategy of “base on large traffic while committing to the lightweight development”.

 

He pointed out that private economy was the potential of economic development and the important force for the revitalization of the new round promotion of old industrial base in northeast China. With a series of policies and measures taken by NDRC to support the revitalization of the northeast, private enterprises in the region also ushered in a new round of development opportunities. As a representative of outstanding enterprises in northeast China, Liaoning Zhongwang Group needs to further speed up the adjustment of product mix and the industrial optimization and upgrade, while steps up the progress of the projects under construction and promote industrial upgrade through innovation, in order to enhance its comprehensive competitiveness to be the mainstay during the new round of revitalization in the northeast old industrial base.

 

After the visit, Zhou Jianping said that NDRC would support the development of Liaoning Zhongwang Group in the future, and he hoped that Liaoyang Municipal Party Committee and Government would further take the development of private economy as an important strategy, and provide policy support for the development of enterprises including Liaoning Zhongwang Group, to make them the "engine" of regional economic growth and the main force of the development of northeast old industrial base.
